This industrial baler is the only baler that uses a forming chain instead of rollers. Roller-type balers struggle with taller forages like Sudan grass, pearl millet, and Johnson grass. This baler is also able to bale cornstalks and is gentle on legumes.
The baler has a self-contained hydraulic system, so you do not need rear hydraulic outlets on your baler. Magnetic base wrapping control is wired to the tractor’s 12-volt system and is automatic. Any standard USA-made round baler twine will work.
The RB511DX is simple in design with fewer moving parts. Baler has a bale kicker to place the finished bale away from the rear, so there is no need to back up. Another feature is the bale turner, which rotates the bale and prevents the operator from having to mount and dismount the tractor to move a bale in tight places.
Tractors must be able to lift 900 lbs. to safely operate this baler. The RB511DX has a heavy-duty chain drive pickup with shear-bolt overload protection. The pickup is nearly 36 inches wide, the widest pickup in its class. Wider pickup makes the baler easier to operate and more productive.
